You can now discover SaaS companies based on their Google Ads activity, and see which ones are rapidly scaling their ad spend.
Why?
For Market Research: Companies spending on paid ads have found product-market fit. They're confident enough in their unit economics to invest in acquisition. If you're building a SaaS, this tells you where real competition exists and which markets are validated.
For Sales & Prospecting: SaaS companies running ads have budget to spend and are actively growing. Instead of cold outreach, target prospects who are demonstrably investing in their business right now.
For Investors: Growing ad spend signals confidence in the business model. These companies have achieved product-market fit and are ready to scale, often the perfect time to get involved.
How It Works
We track every (almost) SaaS company's Google Ads activity and refresh the data monthly. Two new filters are now available:
1. Number of Ads - Total unique ad creatives detected
2. Number of Ad Keywords - Total keywords they're bidding on
For each metric, we also show the compound monthly growth rate, categorized using percentiles across our entire database (low to extreme growth levels).
This means you can find the top 10% of SaaS companies that are rapidly scaling their paid acquisition.
This can also be used in conjunction with the published date filter, to find new SaaS businesses that are spending on ads ๐
Example Use Cases
- Find fast-growing SaaS in your category by sorting on ad keyword growth rate
- Discover well-funded prospects in the top 10% of ad growth, they have budget to spend
- Spot early winners with 10-50 ads but extreme growth rates
- Monitor competitors and track their advertising strategy over time
